It’s critical for conspiracy theory watchers and skeptics to understand that dis-confirming evidence of a theory makes believers in that theory increase their belief rather than walk away. QAnon plays this out every day.
One perfect example of this is the continuous re-trenching over the health status of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. RBG’s health has been a frequent topic of QAnon drops, calling all the way back to April 2018, when Q declared that RBG had “big problems.”
What were they? We never found out, obviously. But the mythology deepened around the first of the year, when Ginsburg had emergency surgery to remove cancerous nodules found after she broke several ribs in a fall.
In the absence of reliable information, conspiracy theories appear. This has been the driving law of pretty much every news story of the last twenty years, and it’s happening moment-by-moment with Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
RBG had surgery to remove cancerous nodules from her lung in late December. It took almost no time for the conspiracy movement, in particular, the wannabe revolutionaries of QAnon, to spin this into an elaborate plot involving deception, death, and a conspiracy to keep control of the Supreme Court.
Right before Christmas, news broke that Supreme Court Justice and liberal icon Ruth Bader Ginsburg underwent surgery to remove part of her lung, due to the discovery of cancer. Ginsburg’s surgery went well, and while her recovery is proceeding smoothly, she’s remaining at her home to work while the Supreme Court hears its first arguments of 2019.
Of course, if you’re woke and following QAnon, you know that’s all bullshit. You see, RBG is already dead (likely via execution), and her death is being kept on ice to be used as a distraction by the deep state whenever Q and Trump decide to make their next big move.
